THE COURSE: The basic course is a 50 mile flat to rolling loop around the Tooele Army Depot. A few shallow drawn out climbs to test the legs. Gentle climb last 10 km to the Finish.
Women 1/2/3, Cat 3, and Masters A have an extra out and back across the south end of the loop adding an extra climb to make a 63 mile race.
Juniors will turn right in Stockton and cut across the basic course to complete a 37 mile loop.
Cat 1/2 Men continue up and over Johnsons Pass (6500') at the south end of the course and complete a loop near Dugway before returning over the pass. The climb going out is moderte and the return is a bit steeper, but not terribly long.
For all races, the first two miles of the race through town are neutral. Racing starts 1 block south of Vine Street.
